Make-up is the means to emphasize a woman's
personality and to flourish her fashion or style. An elegant make-up done with
a knack has surprising effect on woman's splendor and confidence. Daily make-up
should have the quality to revitalize one's natural glow to get on positively
on the spectators.
For your job, classes or shopping, your make-up
should concentrate chiefly on two factors - to bury the face problem (if any)
and to look simple but fashionable. As time is an important concern for women
in service, the make-up products must be easy to apply and resistant to
transfer.
It is best to select natural tones for your
daytime make-up as it is fit for quick application and makes you look
delicately stylish. A little practice may make it easier to have a beautiful
natural finish daily within 10 minutes, which looks graceful, unblemished, fashionable
and professional as well. If you don't feel confident with that natural look
and have little more time, you could work on a more polished appearance.
Your daily makeup basics
Base: The base of make-up is the foundation.
You should be very careful in choosing the shade of the foundation and select
the one that suits your complexion best; otherwise the whole make-up you use
would be in vain. Apply the selected shade all over your face, around your eyes
and to cover any spot of skin problem, for a lucid and youthful look.
If the skin is dry, you can blend one or
two drop of moisturizing lotion with the foundation and also to make the shade
lighter. The use of powder finish after foundation will make you look radiant
and naturally bright. In case of concealing any mark or flaw of your skin and
make the darker parts around your eyes invisible, you have to apply a deeper
shade of foundation than your skin-tone.
Blush: Blush makes you look youthful and
glimmering. Using cream rather than powder blush is better as it is quick and
easy in application. Choosing a shade of blush that is close to the color of
your lipstick will give you a gorgeous appearance. Blend only a bit of creamy
color (if liquid, just a drop) onto the apple of your cheeks and mix that away
with your finger to the ear. You can also choose a natural shade to add an
allusion of natural glow to your cheeks.
Eyebrow: Before concentrating on your eyes,
be cautious about the right shape of your brows. At first, brush your brows
into right position and then fill-up the gap(s) with a sharp eye-brow pencil.
Then brush again to have the decorous shape of your brows and look more
natural.
Eyes: Choose only light natural shades for
the daytime make-up and here again select colors of eye-shadow that are
suitable for your complexion. If you use light shades, you can easily transform
it for evening using darker shades over it. Pencil eye-liners can line-up your
eyes dramatically. Use a wax-based eye-liner pencil (quick to use and suits
daytime) or a liquid waterproof eyeliner on the top or both of your eyelids.
There are a range of colors of eyeliners - black, blue, green and even gray -
choose one that matches your dress and taste. At last apply one or two coats of
mascara on the top lashes first and if you use any on the bottom, be careful to
make it very light.
Lips: Coloring your lips with fitting
colors finishes your make-over. Fresh, shiny colors with a hint of gloss are
great for all season. Or you can use matte-type lipstick with a matching lip-liner
to line up your lips, depending on which one suits you best.
To avoid a made up look, you have to be
very careful that you do not highlight both your eyes and lips. For a balanced
and harmonized look, go for either bright eyes or bright lips. This suggested make-over
can easily be altered from day to evening as well as is pretty resolute for its
attractions. And gaining speed initially, you can do a perfect make-over within
10 minutes.
Caring chores: keep your items handy
-
The main cosmetic products used for daily
make-up should be well stored up and easily reachable.
-
The eye-brows must always be kept in a fine
order.
-
All the brushes that are used in make-up
should be maintained fresh and of course, handy.
-
Always keep your skin in the best possible
form, as it is the main channel of beauty.
-
For your daytime make-up, stress either on
lips or eyes. Do not use dark make-up on both of them.
Consciousness always pays: don't overlook
these
-
Do not use cosmetics crossing expiry dates.
-
Use only quality products for your daily
use. Choose one product carefully that suits your skin type.
-
Use a sunscreen of a reputed brand that has
a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 15 or above.
-
If your skin is sensitive, use cosmetic
goods very selectively and less frequently to avoid infections.
-
Last but not the least, you must wipe up
all the make-up before going to bed daily. Otherwise, it may cause severe and
permanent skin problem.
