Some time
back blonde ladies had to be in the frame of the image created for light-haired
women and avoid bright and dark colors not to spoil the face and the tender
look. Though, the fashion sets its own trends, and we only follow it. The trendy
makeup with smoky eyes and red lipstick popular with all ladies irrespective of
the color of hair, blondes are encouraged now to try more vivid and brighter
shades. The makeup artists recommend that blondes should follow the key rules
in makeup that ensures the correct and harmonic look, when a woman complies
with the type of color and when she accentuate a single part of her face,
whether lips or eyes. The blondes fall into two categories by the type of
color, that is spring and autumn. A spring-girl has light-color hair of warm shade,
with amber and honey tint, grey, blue, light-green or light-brown (hazel) color
of eyes. Ash blondes of summer type will follow the type defined by the color
of their hair.
If you
refer to the spring type, then you win if your makeup is made in two warm
tints.
Powder and
the foundation should have more yellow pigment than pink that is closer to the
cold color gamut. The powder may have glittering particles, and in summer the
powder makes your face live and adds some sunny brilliance.
The rouge
should also be included into the brown or bronze line of color. Peach rouge for
very light skin is perfect for a girl with green and hazel eyes, while the
orange rouge is good for girls with reddish hair to accentuate eyes.
The same is
with eye-shadows. Warm brown, bronze, golden shadows and green as the olive
shade go with hazel or green eyes most of all. Very light eye-shadows are wrong
to use since they can make your eye-sockets spread and dull. Dark eye-shadows are
not also for you, blondes, especially if your eyes are of lighter shade. Girls
with grey eyes would better use beige shadows, while blue-eyed girls will look
more attractive with terracotta shade of shadows. Be careful when applying
brown shades along the eye lines since they can make you look sick.
Spring blondes
with green or blue eyes are welcome to use matte beige eye shadows as the base
for eye makeup, and green or blue eye pencil to highlight the color by the eye
line.
Grey-eyed
blondes look good with smoky grey and blue color that makes your eyes brighter.
The lipstick of coral, terracotta, ash berry or golden color will add some
supple expressiveness to your lips. The intensive color lipstick is not
suitable here at all.
The cold type
blondes, summer type, want to be close to colder colors with brighter tints to
comply with the type.
The
foundation and powder should be ivory for the pale complexion ladies. Pink
rouge is better to add some vivacity to the face and to highlight cheeks and
the cheekbones can be accentuated with the slight stroke of the brush.
The eyes require
the cold gamut of eye shadows from grey and blue to pink and violet. Grey-eyed or
blue-eyed girls will look amazing when they apply similar smoky blue or grey
eye shadows highlighting eyes with grey or blue eye pencil or eyeliner. For green
cold blondes the grey straw-colored gamma is the best, and if you like
something unique, you may highlight your eyes with the violet color gamut from
lilac, plum violet or the pink color of shadows. The same as with the spring
color type, you are welcome to use the neutral tints of shades (grey, brown), while
the lower eye-lid may be lined with emerald green.
With the
color of the wardrobe, you may choose the lipstick. The summer type blondes will
look natural and more eye-catching rich color of berry, from pink (even fuchsia,
dark wine red, coral and with the bronze skin you will get natural applying
golden lipstick but darker brown eye shadows are not suitable whatever natural
they look.
Surely,
these are the general hints on makeup, though you bear in mind your individual
features. To win you should test and experiment with the makeup rules adhering
to the color type and you will succeed, for your wonderful blonde locks will
tell you immediately on the adverse affect of the wrong makeup.
