Blue eyes are
the symbol of the purity, innocence, tenderness, chastity which create the image
of lovely youth when matched with light color of hair. Blue-eyed blonde is the ever-lasted
image of any beautiful princess while brunettes have more magic attractiveness
making the contrasting image of a lady-winter, a cold, haughty and highly
sexual. When applying make up, blue-eyed women should take a careful and tender
care. Depending on the color of hair, the event, the color prevailing in the
attire, the color gamut will change. There is a rule that definitely works for blue
eyes. The stylists confirm that the beauty of the color shade is not backed by
the color of eye-shadow applied to the outer eyelid, as it is widely believed,
though, but the shade of color seen far below the level of your eyes. That only
means that wearing a top or a scarf of intensive electric color or tender blue,
you can play with the color of your eyes. And the make up you apply should work
for you only.
Blue-eyed ladies
should keep one very important rule that says that the color of your makeup may
not fully match your eyes in similar colors. Darker shadows and thick black color
eyeliner may spoil your image, though.
When
applying similar colors, you risk getting two dreary spots on your face, while
in the second case your eyes will look empty and inexpressive, when they are
richly lined or dark eye-shadows trim your eyes. Nevertheless, we see that
these shades are widely practiced when making a makeup for blue eyes, though;
there is a rule effective for everyone, to use right proportions and in
combination with other shades, not alone.
The same as
with green eyes, blue eyes change the tone to slightly plane grey-blue to
intensive blue, stating the motton blue margining with the greener color gamut,
when different colors are used in makeup. But in any case blue color is the «cold»
winterly shade, thus, such eyes require different, and perhaps, special
trimming.
The shadows
that should match blue eyes should be of similar color or contrast in warm
tones. They include the close shades of blue, grey and brown (bright
terracotta, light-brown, natural beige). Be careful with pink and violet
shades, and green should be applied with tender and careful strokes as well. These
shades having something close to each other but without any harshly expressive
contrast, making somehow weird image, spoil the look when eye shadows conflict
with each other.
Let's guess,
that your eyes are of grey to blue color, without that piercing blue pigment,
and the right makeup you may apply includes dull grey-to-brown gamut without
reddish spots for daily natural makeup. You are free to apply one and the same color
of shadows onto your upper and lower eyelid and putting lighter shade of light-grey
or light-brown to the inner corner of eyes. Once you want to accentuate on the
blue shade, then apply intensive rich blue color to 2/3 of eyelids from the
outer parts while highlighting the inner side with white eye shadow. The
eyeliner is the best when it is of light texture and similar in color. Avoid using
eyeliner of intensive blue color to line the entire contour of eyes, and heavy
lines a la 50s.
This color
is the only feasible option for blue eyes which look good with pink-to-violet
gamut. It is more suitable for creative and courageous evening makeup when your
ensemble has some tints of these colors. Blondes are advised that they choose for
the gentle pink and delicate violet colors, while more specific purple looks
perfect with the winter-lady with dark color of hair.
The only case
when you may reply on the eye-liner effect - not liquid but a soft pencil of
grey color - is when the makeup is applied where rather light shades prevail
which slightly blur the eye contour and you have the task to highlight it. The eye contour is 1/3 or
2/3 of
the outer corner of eyes.
If you are
a happy owner of eyes with bright magic and translucent blue tint eyes, you
will look charming when vivid blue and brown colors are used in makeup. Cameron
Diaz, for example, prefers neutral brown color gamut for everyday life, while
she applies azure color under her lower eyelid when appearing on the red
carpet.
The owners
of such eyes will do only good if use more expressive and warmer shades of
brown color, like warm honey, sandy or gold. These tins are perfect to emphasize
the beauty of blue eyes if a women has bronze complexion, and grey and blue
colors would look bizarrely at least, «cooling» the even and beautiful tan.
You may play
around with the seasonal fashion, having grey color eye shadows in winter,
while in summer and during the fall -pearl gold will make you attractive and
make out of the crowd.
