Sitting Room Furniture

A sitting-room is a place which is mainly decorated and designed to meet guests. This is the place where people sit and spend the time discussing over something. The dining room is for the loud parties and feasts. The meal is taken in the dining room and guests – in the sitting room, to be stated by one of classic writers. When you can boast with the apartments of eight rooms there, this is a perfect base to follow this principle providing you have a small family. The modern flats are rather smaller, unfortunately, and the place is used for many purposes then.

Niello – Ancient Jewelry Traditions

When passing by the windows of the jewelry shop, we stop to stare at those silver items with the ornament, whether intentionally or not. The frozen ornaments are encircled with the black paint in thinnest line against the silver glass. The lock of niello is fancifully twisted to admire. The Niello technique, nowadays almost forgotten, is one of the oldest ornamenting techniques in the world. The jewelry from niello perfectly shade a gentle woman skin and those made for men emphasize the status and individual style of wearer. The silver is created with the tint of aristocratism, lavishly and worthy to come to collections of family jewels. Niello is a black metallic alloy of copper, silver, sulfur, and lead, used as an inlay on engraved metal. It can be used for filling in designs cut from metal.

Diamond Peel

Thursday, 27 August 2009

diamond peelSkin and body care is an integral part of the everyday life of every modern woman. However, beauty cannot be preserved solely with the help of expensive and even highly effective skin care products. Medical cosmetology forges ahead and makes a huge breakthrough every year, offering new methods of anti-ageing treatment and aesthetic correction. Diamond peel is one of these methods.

Diamond peel is a non-surgical method of encouraging skin renewal, a sort of microdermabrasion. This non-surgical approach improves post-acne scarring, stretch marks, fine wrinkles, and flaky skin and pigmentation problems. Microdermabrasion likewise unroofs comedones (blackheads and whiteheads). The term «microdermabrasion» was formed by merging three foreign words: «micro» - small (in our case meaning «surface»), «derma» - skin and «abrasive». So microdermabrasion is cleaning of skin surface.

Diamond Peel

This treatment uses wands with a disposable diamond tips that propels crystal flow to the skin and also vacuums away the dirt and dead skin cells. Immediately after treatment, the skin feels softer and smoother. Weekly treatment sessions produce the much sought-after «pinkish glow», making one look young and vibrant. Usually up to ten diamond tips may be used, and each of them is selected depending on the individual properties of the skin.

Like any other type of dermabrasion, diamond peel encourages skin renewal, aides in removing scars, pigment spots and fine wrinkles, and restores skin structure. However, unlike most other methods of mechanical microdermabrasion, diamond peel is less invasive and causes less injury, as the size of diamond crystals, due to their well-known hardness, is extremely small. This important feature ensures that diamond peel is a safe and painless procedure, and eliminates the need for anesthesia. Another indisputable advantage of diamond peel is the absence of powder release, which can be achieved with the help of built-in exhaust unit, which works in conjunction with a rotating diamond tip. Otherwise, hard diamond powder particles could enter the upper airways and settle on the lungs of both the aesthetician and the patient, causing irritation and severe traumatic effect.

Mechanical removal of the upper layer of dead skin contributes not only to improved blood circulation in the skin (and, hence, increased metabolic rate in skin tissues), but also stimulates the formation of the connective elements which are responsible for «young skin»: collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Increasing their number makes the skin more elastic, supple and fresh.

Typically, diamond peel procedure does not require recovery period that allows patients to immediately return to their daily work and social activities. The only limitation is the increased care in dealing with «new» skin during the course of after-care procedures in the first few days after the peel. During this period, it is recommended not to stay near fire or very hot objects (to avoid excessive heat exposure), and protect your skin from direct sunlight, alcohol-based and other astringent skin care products.

The peeling treatment can be processed in a clean and hygienic way because the diamond peeling heads could be sanitized and no crystals would be left behind. Diamond peeling knows age limitations; it can be performed on all skin types and is recommended treatment for scars, acne or post-acne scars, large pigment spots, fine wrinkles, etc. With up to 10 diamond peel tips that are different in size and density, diamond peel can be used for the eyes, face, neck and body.

The number of required diamond peel procedures can vary quite significantly depending on the task. Thus, the removal of deep scars or tattoos may require up to twenty sessions. Finer scars or wrinkles, as well as small pigmented spots, will disappear after the eight to ten sessions, while to eliminate surface wrinkles it often takes a single session. The duration of procedure is typically about forty minutes. However, the skin has to «recover» after every session. Therefore, you should always take session with intervals of one and a half weeks.

The contraindications to diamond peel include inflammatory and some infectious diseases of the skin. You should consult your cosmetologist or dermatologist for more detailed information on the subject. Since diamond peel is the best method to prepare skin for effective «recharge», experts strongly recommend using special aftercare creams, gels or other cosmetics following the procedure.

Men’s Muffler – a Scarf with the French Accent

Muffler is a kerchief or a scarf which seems to be uncomplicated for use though it sometimes confuses in purpose. The word coming from the French «cache-nez» means «hide your nose» which is completely unreasonable for this garment today. On the contrary, this piece of clothes proves to be the decorative element in the wardrobe in every possible way. However, this does make neither men nor women upset for not a jot, since there are far more considerable garments in volume and material to use if necessary. A muffler is a perfect complement to the elegant apparel with the hint of being aristocratic which is too essential for the business image.

Produced by Kenzo, Japan, Flower was created by the perfumer Alberto Morillas, Spain, and "dressed" by designer Serge Mansau, France.

Radon Baths: The Healing Power of Radiation

Radon baths are a variety of the radon therapy, prepared using mineral waters containing radon. Radon is a colorless, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas that is formed from the naturally occurring radioactive decay of radium and uranium. The main working factor of radon are alpha rays which have an array of properties and are successfully used in the treatment of peripheral nervous system, locomotorium, vascular, gynecological and some cutaneous diseases and also post-burn complications. During radon bath, unstable products of radon decay form the so called «active fur» on the skin, and its concentration increases even with slight movements of the patient in the bath or in the basin. It consolidates its grip on one's skin firmly enough and remains on the skin for 2-3 hours. The patient, being in the bath, is exposed to radon radiation which penetrates the skin and through the lungs into the blood flow.
