Men's socks
are something very touching. A man can afford walking barefoot only when
walking onto the beach or wearing sandals when going out in summer time only.
In any other case a man should wear socks for every event, otherwise he will be
believed to be a freaky person or just a normal person will be considered as
weird, at least. Though, this is just the functional feature of socks, and here
we have also the physiological matter. Socks are not revealed on the public,
unless a man sits or crosses his legs. And here logically we can assume that
this detail should not be paid so much attention. Nobody cares of your socks,
man! And even knowing of the feature of factual
invisibility of socks, a rare man would not think to match the socks with the
costume, or mood or the kind of event he is going to attend. Socks many reflect
the temper of the man on the whole, irrespective of his wishes of reveal the
nature.
When you
see a man wearing socks that do not match his look, it tells a lot. For
example,
men preferring black color socks are restrained and do not pretend to
get to know to public. It says that a man is not familiar with what is
fashionable, and second, black socks are practical to wear for every
event.
The same is
with men who opt for grey or brown color socks. If your man likes wearing these
color socks better than others, he might be a solid conservative man, who
appreciates the family values, though he does not want to express his ego
wearing accessories.
When you
see the patch of lemon-yellow or vivid orange color socks with a man wearing
jeans, this tells that a person is too demonstrative, too unbalanced, irascible
and emotional. The red color of socks says about the latent aggression, and
ladies, be careful when you see a man wearing red socks!
When a man chooses
socks with patterns, it says about his peculiarity. When a pattern is fine,
slightly visible, it is all to tell that the owner is reserved unlike the loud polka-dot,
merry boxes or chess that reveal the temper of the owner as the sociable but
unstable person.
It is a
rule to remember for every man that the color of socks should go with the
entire ensemble not with the color of shoes, or any other accessories a man
has. If you go for a vacation, you will need a costume of lighter shades that
usual ordinary costumes for everyday wear. And even if you adhere to the
classic and conservative styles, you'd better forget about your preferences and
opt for lighter and more suitable socks to look solid and attractive.
When
wearing a business suit or just everyday wear, you have to choose the socks to
match the color of a garment, like the stripe on the tie, or match with the
more solid item as a pullover.
Bear in
mind that the color of your socks should not confront to the entire gamut of
the ensemble. If the suit is made in cold either cold gamut, the socks should
go with any of them. The costumes of natural brown shades from light beige to
the chocolate color, look perfect if you wear dark rich color socks, from
brown, red to green, in match with the dark-brown shoes and a tie the stripes
or shade of which goes well with the entire look.
The classic
combination of the light-blue shirt and dark-blue (with or without stripes) tie
goes well with the dark-blue socks and lighter shoes if the suit is of light
color, or black shoes id the anthracite color suit is selected so far.
Light-blue socks look well with light suit and light-blue shirt and light-brown
shoes.
White color
socks are the part of sports life, when you wear a polo T-shirt, look for white
socks also.
The socks
with vivid pattern require the unique harmony with the other part of the set.
The pattern should also go with the neck kerchief or a tie. When the association
is not visible, and the «sock» pattern turns into the main and leading
character, you'd better not to rush up and change something not in the gallery.
