No wonder that a lot of people purchase elite apartments abroad: it is much more fun to stay in your own dwelling than at a hotel, even a luxurious one. There is a huge selection of exclusive residences in the world, and making the right choice is not easy, but we will provide you with information about the most refined, elite and comfortable apartments!
1. Century City has been the American
millionaires' dream. This commercial and residential area in Los
Angeles has long ago become the choice that wealthy people of all
nationalities make looking for a second home. Its history began 50
years ago, when there was a need for "20th Century Fox" film studio and
film production. A vacant site was found, and the construction began.
"Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer" followed, and later luxurious hotels and business
centres popped up. Thus, Los Angeles got its new exclusive district.
The consruction has never stopped. Every year more appartment buildings
are added to the Century City, and the day is coming when not every
millionaire will be able to afford an appartment here. Century Tower
appartments have made a real sensation and have caused estate buyers'
madness. There are exclusive penthouses and well developed
infrastructure with private schools and clinics, spa centres with
swimming pools and running paths on the roof, designers' boutiques and
supermarkets on the ground floor. This hi-tech building has become a
pearl of Century City, and one can be staying at the most expensive
Century Plaza Hotel in California for several years for the price of an
apartment there which varies from $3 mln to $30 mln.
2.
Madison residence: Palaces under Dubai sun. Dubailand, which is known
as Arab Manhattan, continues to astonish by the height of its
buildings. Since the beginning of this year the Damac company (one of
the biggest UAE private developers) has been selling apartments in the
new exclusive residential building, Madison Residence. It sits away
from the main Dubailand in the Emirates Road, in a quiet environment
but with all conveniences of civilization: there is a park zone, sport
areas, art gallery (where lectures in arts are available), a theater,
Spa and fitness centers, swimming pools, multibrand boutiques and
up-scale restaurants. The Madison Residence complex consists of several
4-storeyed western style buildings with elements of Oriental decor:
fountains, carved marble ceilings, balustrades and Arab moldings. Each
house has small apartments with elegant interiors and exclusive
spacious apartments with studios, several bathrooms and bedrooms. The
proximity to the Jebel Ali airport (just 10 minutes of driving) is
another Madison Residence advantage. Prices start from 195,000 British
pounds.
3. "Egadi": houses in the Italian
Eden. When one hears "Italian real estate", the mind readily pictures
villas and castles, but elite apartments are also in great demand in
this country. More often they are not skyscrapers with hundreds of
apartments, but small cottages (townhouses) with a fewl apartments.
This is exactly how the Egadi Residence is laid out. It was built in
Calabria, on the Ionian sea shore. One glance is enough to fall in love
with the local beauties: snow-white houses with transparent walls in
the greenery of gardens, Scvilache bay view from the balcony, and
sweet-scented bougenvilles flourishing everywhere. Besides being
convenient (the newest technology, several bedrooms and bathrooms),
life in Egadi Residence is also full of entertainment with bars,
restaurants, and seasonal national festivals. Prices start from 238,000
Euros.
4. Alden Residence III: Turkish
luxury. Alden Residence III recently built in Alania at the
Meditterranean sea shore, will draw a lot of beach and Oriental fans:
indeed, window s of any apartment have a picturesque sea view (there
are 144 apartments in each of four 12-storeyed residential buildings).
By the way, standard apartments in Alden Residence III only have two
balconies, while penthouses have a terrace instead of several
balconies! There is no place for boredom in those spacious rooms with
marble floors and built-in cooking equipment in the kitchen, and otside
there are swimming pools, sauna, tennis courts, a fitness center, a
fascinating garden and plenty of eateries serving local and western
food. Not to mention safety - a twenty-four hour patrol is on guard.
Furthermore, there is 24/7 video recording of everything on the
premises, and an additional guard watches the parking lot. The beach
across the road is only for residents and their guests. Prices start
from 110,000 Euros.
5. Aleph Residence:
Argentinean surprise by Foster. A famous British architect Norman
Foster is building the most expensive residential complex in Argentina,
and 30% of its unfinished apartments have been already sold to foreign
millionaires! The foundation for Aleph Residence is laid in the
prestigious region of Buenos Aires. It is supposed to be a Gothic
9-storeyed building with 57 apartments. The complex will be surrounded
with gardens, swimming pools and restaurants, and its ground floor will
accomodate a Luis Borges cultural centre (his novel gave the name to
the residence). Architectural details have been kept in secret, but, no
doubt, it will be only available to those chosen ones. Prices start
from $6,000 per sq.m.
As you see, life is great
not only in a presidential suite or an elegant villa, but on the
balcony of your own apartment as well!
