As any other products presented by the jewelry house, Chopard Mira-Bai was produced by Coty, the cosmetic giant specialized in manufacture and sale of perfume for most reputed brands and Holliwood celebrities. Mark Buxton, a perfumer from the United Kingdom, is the nose behind the fragrant formulation for Chopard Mira-Bai. He is not a well-known perfumer with the loud portfolio though he is recognized for his works in perfume industry for the avant-garde fashion brand Comme des Garsons. Apart from Comme des Garsons, Buxton successfully collaborated with several famous brands as Versace, Cartier, Givenchy, and Paco Rabanne. Chopard Mira-Bai appears to be one of the first and most thriving perfumes for Buxton. Mira-Bai by Chopard is discontinued though the fragrance is still appreciated and loved.

Being one of the classic fragrances among other oriental perfumes, Chopard Mira-Bai is built on the breath-taking lusty and deep blend of vanilla and sandal notes. The perfume compound of Chopard Mira-Bai comes as the traditional blend of three accords: fruity accord to open, the feminine floral accord as the heart of perfume and elusive and vigorous wood and vanilla accord as the base of the scent. Chopard Mira-Bai is built on notes of black currant, plum, peach, bergamot, jasmine, rose, sandal, amber, vanilla and cedar. Despite of mix of sweet floral and vanilla notes, Chopard Mira-Bai is a very subtle and sunny fragrance unlike the most oriental perfumes known for heavy notes as the base. Thus, Mira-Bai is perfect to wear in the day time, either. The exotic accords of the perfume make it appropriate to use for evening outs. The blend with Casmir, another famous oriental fragrance from Chopard, makes the scent deeper, louder and lustier.

The exotic and almost miraculous atmosphere of India with its flamboyant colors, species and scents found in every corner of Indian yard, inspired the perfumer to create Chopard Mira-Bai based on the scents that thrills the mind and touches the soul. The design of the bottle cap reminds of the Indian temple dooms, as well as the name of the perfume. Mira Bai is the legendary Indian holy and poetess, the character of the most Indian fairy tales and legends.

Chopard Mira-Bai: exclusive luxury

Like most companies involved in perfume industry, Chopard House makes its profit from the regular updating of the existing perfume line. The brand also practices production of a variety of flankers of the most recognizable and demanded scents. Wish, another fragrance of the Chopard house, has around ten flankers of distinguished scents but with recognizable notes of the basic perfume, manufactured for the recent several years. Unfortunately, Chopard Mira-Bai is not among fragrances that remind to ladies with a world of flankers updated annually or even more frequently. The Chopard House discontinued the Mira-Bai production and today only women who collect vintage fragrances are happy to get and enjoy Chopard Mira-Bai.

Chopard Mira-Bai is not available in free trade in boutiques and stores, though it can be found at various online-shops and online-auctions to estimate and purchase. One more detail, Chopard Mira-Bai costs far more expensive online than it has ever been marketed.
