When you see a woman wearing the fragrance that suits her
ideally and evokes enjoyment, pleasure and bliss and makes her fly, you see how
beautiful she is. The fragrances affect us to a greater extent far more than we
could anticipate. The fragrances that come as thrilling and fascinating but go
away too quickly are forgotten too easily, though there are various classic
fragrances that are demanded and loved for over fifty years already. Those
fragrances were created in the previous century by people who are not with us
though they are perfect to strike the women with full and handy notes of sensitivity.
Yet, one of the classic scents that seem to live forever is «Diorissimo» by
Christian Dior.
Origin of «Diorissimo» by Christian Dior
This is the true art – to create new fragrances and the art
dates back the ancient times with secrets that we are not involved yet. The same
as the humankind history, perfume has something to tell about in the past. The perfumery
was blooming in the middle of the XX century when the perfumers of France would
create scents that are cherished and appreciated for more than half a century. Christian
Dior always had a spot on scents in his heart and thus in the early 40s of the XX
century he founded the perfumery company Christian Dior Perfume. «Perfume is what
a woman needs to complement her image, it is the completing note for the
attire, it is a rose signature by Lancret», Christian Dior would say.
Edmond Roudnitska, the person who created «Diorissimo» came from
Grasse, France, and he wanted to create a perfume that would be revolutionary
on one hand and break the trend of sweet perfumes that were prevailing on the other
hand. The goal e chased was to make perfume’s formula simpler and create a luminous
perfume. Dior and Edmond Roudnitska met each other in 1955 which resulted in
launching the perfume. In 1956 one of the first advertisement campaigns was
initiated with the illustration by Rene Gruau, one of the reputed artists and illustrators.
A beautiful woman holding a bunch of lilies of the valley was drawn on the
poster, which were the basic note for the fragrance. «Diorissimo» by Christian
Dior is absolutely exceptional fragrance since the lily of the valley was first
used as a component of perfumery composition. This flower appeared the symbol
of Dior House and the note of this flower is seen in many other perfumes launched
later. The perfume is full of ease, bloom and sensitivity.
The notes of jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose tree are also distinctive
for this fragrance. The scent is associated with a quixotic, vulnerable woman with
a delicate taste who is eager to draw attention of men.
Bottle of «Diorissimo» by Christian Dior
The design of the bottle was created by Guerry Colas. The
opaque luster of the perfume passes the translucent glassy surface of the
bottle with the blinding glare arousing the associated with the first sun beam
which hangs over the foggy water. And the wonderful and charming scent keeps such
a modest bottle. This perfume was launched when Christian Dior was alive and
the fragrance is still in.
Who wears «Diorissimo» by Christian Dior?
It is obvious that every woman has her own perfume she likes
and prefers to others since it is the only fragrance that catches the attention
and exhales invisible magnetic waves of femininity. Most famous women are
likely to hide their favorite perfume though the legendary Black Panther -
Naomi Campbel – admitted that she prefers «Diorissimo» by Christian Dior in addition
to her own line of perfume.
There is something magic and charming about this perfume.
«Diorissimo» by Christian Dior is still the favorite fragrance by the thousand of
women around the world. Edmond Roudnitska, the designer of this fragrance used
to say about this scent: «This is pure aroma of lily of the valley complemented
with the note of wood to build the atmosphere of spring around the woman
wearing it».
