 The French fashion house Christian Dior is known to be exclusively fashionable in launching both perfume and collections of trendy wear and accessories for men and women. Poison, the legendary fragrance, presented back in 1985, proved that Dior is acknowledged one of the reputed perfume manufacturers. Christian Dior launched a variety of popular fragrances for women. However, the house offered perfume for men either, among them are Fahrenheit and Dune. Higher is also designed for men launched in 2001 by the fashion house.
Higher by Dior has become one of fragrances designed by the French
fashion house that managed to win the popularity those who vote for
men’s scents. The perfume succeeded in spite it was designed by less
acknowledged and reputed perfumers. Oliver Guillotine and
Olivier Pescheux designed the Higher and the fragrance was globally
noted. Neither of them created the perfume prior to collaboration with
Christian Dior. Oliver Guillotine designed just Balenciaga Cristobal for
women launched in 1998 while Olivier Pescheux was engaged in design of
perfume for niche brands not so known among the wide public.
Christian Dior Higher for men is known for its classic wooden scent. The
perfumery composition blends citrous, spicy and woody note. Higher is
designed based on notes of peach, basilica, citrus fruit, pear,
rosemary, spicery, cypress and musk. Unshowy and elegant, the Higher is
perfect for everyday use with its pure tree and musky accord, and some
spicery is added by light and subtle, not too sweet accents of fruity
notes.
Christian Dior launched the series of skin care products to the Eau de
Cologne under the same title – Higher. The series of cosmetic products
included the shaving balm, deodorant and shampoo.

As any other reputed perfumers, Christian Dior keeps traditions to
produce flankers to its legendary fragrances шntroducing more new
scents. Most popular fragrances by Dior have few flankers. So, the
iconic Poison has about ten flankers as well as for Miss Dior Cherie,
produced for women. The house also launched flankers for the Higher. Its
first flanker appeared in a year after the original perfume was
marketed.
In 2002 Christian Dior presented new version titled as Higher Black. The
perfumers who created the original Higher for Dior committed to design
the limited edition fragrance Higher Black. Therefore, unlike other
flankers produced upon
launch of the original perfume, Higher stayed the same in new Black
version. Higher Black designers added some particular accents to the
original fragrant formulation as notes of lemon, peach, plum, pug,
rosemary, spicery, cedar and musk.
A year later, in 2003, Christian Dior launched another flanker for
Higher which appeared to be more spicy and attractive. The fragrance
called Higher Energy was designed by new perfumers, Nathalie
Gracia-Cetto and Carlos Vinals. This is
interesting that Christian Dior fashion house addresses to the help of
perfumers who were not known in the perfume industry to launch flankers
of for its reputed fragrances. Nevertheless, the flanker titled Higher
Energy never yielded to the original perfume being fresher and more
energetic. The fragrance fully proved its title. Higher
Energy by Christian Dior is designed for the young urban. This
multifaceted manly scent was designed for those who aspire to new
emotions. Higher Energy is the delicate harmony of freshness and
spicery. Christian Dior Higher Energy is known for its basic woody
accord from its reputed fragrant formulation of the original perfume.
However, the flanker of the original fragrance succeeded with more
flamboyant and vivid riot of colors and scents due to some citric accord
added. The Higher Energy fragrant composition is built on the notes of
pineapple, melon, juniper berries, rumple, grape-fruit, nutmeg,
frankincense, pepper, sandal wood, musk, vetiver, cedar and oakmoss. The
blend of these accords made the perfume one of the popular fragrances
for men ever created for the last decade.
