Established in 1982, the Dolce & Gabbana fashion house was governed by two young designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. At the early stages of collaboration these two did not succeed well though later they showed the miracles of talent and imagination in fashion industry. The Dolce & Gabbana brand keeps its niche in the industry of fashion wear in Italy and in the whole world. Against the total success of D&G collections launched one by one to strike the imagination, the designers flashed with the idea to try the new segment of the market and chose to launch the trial perfume. They succeeded, either.
The first fragrance by Dolce & Gabbana was launched in 1992 followed by amply fragrances which also found their place in the heart of most fashionistas, including Light Blue (2001), Sicily (2003), Dolce & Gabbana The One (2006). D&G Feminine is one of the Dolce & Gabbana fragrances which is left behind today so much worthy to speak about as compared with other branded perfume of that time. This perfume is the real ode to femininity with such a loud name to remember.
The esthetic trimming of fragrances and any item the Italian house of Dolce & Gabbana produces is recognizable all over the world and this is due to the focused compassion and enticement of images that make the core of the women collections of this brand. Nonetheless, D&G Feminine is the exclusive one when Dolce & Gabbana retracted for a while off traditions releasing too fresh, too feminine and too special fragrance so much appropriate to the time it was released. That’s intriguing but Feminine is the «half» of the perfumery duet since the fashion house released Masculine, the fragrance for men, which was deemed as the try to create the image of a well-cared, wealthy and confident person. The bottle of the perfume, the scent and appeal make it amazing to adore and acquire.
Fragrant composition
D&G Feminine was presented in 1999 to become one of few fragrances produced directly by Euroitalia, ex-holder of license to produce perfumery products by Dolce & Gabbana (perfume for the Italian brand is procured by Procter & Gamble). Two perfumers were noses to create the fragrant composition for Feminine, namely Nathalie Lorson and Max Gavarry. Nathalie Lorson is the one who created such recognizable perfume as Shiseido Zen, JustCavalli I Love Her, Paul Smith Women, Jil Sander Pure, Christian Dior Remember Me. Max Gavarry was involved in arrangement of two major runways for Prada, Christian Dior, Emanuel Ungaro.
D&G Feminine created by these two persons is the oasis of fresh, modern scent with the accent of elegant musk base, that tingles the preliminary fruit-and-juice soda. The fragrant composition for D&G Feminine opens with the fresh and juicy notes of tangerine, mimosa, and fresh lily-of-the-valley. The heart of the scent opens with the delicate and feminine floral accord that blends the notes of heliotrope, jasmine and ylang-ylang. The powdered base of D&G Feminine is like the combination of warmer and sensitive notes of sandal wood, vanilla, musk and wood. D&G Feminine is deemed as the fragrance for the daily wear. It is the best for the summer period with its surprisingly appropriate blend of feminine floral and sensitive wood-and-vanilla accord to make the perfume ideal for any occasion, from parties to the most solemn arrangements.
D&G Feminine: forgotten for nothing
Unfortunately, today D& G Feminine launched in 90s, is not widely sold as many fragrances and skin care products at the popular or brand perfume stores. The fragrance was discontinued and today only vintage perfume collectors could get the perfume. Nevertheless, the perfume is easy to purchase if particular attempts are made to consequently look for the exclusive fragrance of the most recognizable brand, for example, to get the fragrance online. Dolce & Gabbana house, unlike other brands, does not welcome the idea of flankers and even much demanded fragrances have no flankers for today. Thus, Feminine, has no other versions apart from the original new. D&G Feminine today is the fragrance loved by most people and collected for many years by perfume seekers.
