Kenzo’s Fashion House based in Paris was established in
the 70s by the Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. Nowadays the house launches too different
things, from trendy wear to accessories and perfume. Since the day Takada
launched his brand, the items of the Japanese nature were all appreciated and
wanted throughout all the time of the brand life.
The collections by Kenzo stood
out for the vivid, feminine, romantic and still, too seductive string to go through
all the collections but it took over twenty years to Takada to launch the first
perfume line of the high quality and success. The perfume collections lived up to
all expectations and today Kenzo perfume is only associated with chic, exotic
glamour, spicy style along with the wear collections. Kenzo Flower, Kenzo Air,
Kenzo Amour come as the most well-known fragrances by the Fashion House. The Jungle
L'Elephant offered in 1996 is the one associated with the exotic oriental
esthetics and beauty.
The Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant is called for the first
Kenzo Takada boutique Jungle Jap opened in Paris in the early 70s. The perfume
is spicy-floral fragrance to accentuate the whole philosophy of the Kenzo House
designers who get inspired with the fabulous riot of colors of the exotic
places and virgin nature. The perfume is shown with the blend of bunch of
flowers and exotic spices. Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant opens in the fresh and
juicy notes of tangerine, cardamom, clove and cumin. The heart notes are
scented with floral and fruity accords of ylang-ylang, licorice, mango and
heliotrope to end up with the tempting sensual notes of patchouli, vanilla,
amber and wood.
The deepness of the Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant fragrant formula
is the worth but at the same time is the drawback of this fragrance. This is because
the intensive spicy notes will be enjoyed not by everyone. So, this scent
is clearly
piquant and
exclusively sensual.
Thus, the ladies who are prone to classic fragrances and
floral scents cannot like that perfume at all. The deep, rich and too sensitive
harmony of tangy and juicy floral accords of Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant fall into
the category of evening fragrances and this is too heavy for everyday use.
Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant stands out the crowd with its exciting
fragrant composition and exclusively fascinating bottle design with a tiny elephant
figurine on the cap of it. Joel de Grippe, the French designer, elaborated the
bottle for the fragrance that created for Van Cleef and Arpels and John
Galliano apart from Kenzo to collaborate for longer time.
As many other brands Kenzo House makes various
flankers for its reputed fragrances. The number of flankers of Kenzo Amour and Kenzo
Flower total in over the dozen. In the early 90s, when the French House was just
paving its way to the perfume industry as a winner, the Kenzo House management stack
to absolutely different policy and this is perhaps why Jungle L'Elephant has no
flankers at all despite being one of the reputed perfumes of the house. However,
Jungle L'Elephant is not the only fragrant masterpiece of the exotic nature
from Kenzo. In 1997, a year later, the fashion brand offered Jungle Le Tigre
which was launched as perfume and as different skin care products unlike Jungle
L'Elephant. Jungle Le Tigre is far quieter and mild than the vivid and
sensitive Jungle L'Elephant being sweet and fresh based on citric formula with
spicy accents of ginger, wood accord and ylang-ylang.
So, today Jungle
L'Elephant is the
sample for
the exclusive and expensive collection.
Officially the
perfume was
discontinued and
the fragrances can only be
found in
collections of
vintage perfume
amateurs. Jungle L'Elephant is available in online perfume shops and online
auctions.
