 This scent
was favorable for millions of women and still in XXI century it is also loved
by many of them. Krasnaya Moskva is the perfume to symbolize the epoch and
nostalgia for some women while others find it as the sign of conservative and
outdated taste. The perfume loved by the Empress Maria Fedorovna, mother to Nikolay
II was created by Henri Brocard in the early XX century and a century later it
found the way to hearts of those who really appreciate the elegance in the
classic glass bottle.
The year 1913
– the legend of romance
The perfume
Krasnaya Moskva is so legendary that the date of origin and the name of the
perfumer who created the incredible bouquet turned into the beautiful history. Henri
Brocard owned one of the reputed companies, The Brocard Empire, to the early XX
century, he was awarded as the winner at various international contests though
he dreamt about one title, the Royal Supplier for the Imperial Majesty. That
idea seized him totally and by the legend he dreamt of that aroma. When he considered
everything in details, he presented the unique gift to the Empress Maria Fedorovna,
mother to Nikolay II, to the three hundredth anniversary of the Romanovs Family
in 1913 as roses, violets and jasmine cut from the wax and every single flower exhaled
its own unique aroma. When blending, the notes of species and herbs, the
romantic rose and jasmine gave the unique and incredible scent, the aroma of
the first Russian perfume noted in the Russian and World history of perfume.
The Empress Maria Fedorovna liked the fragrance to the extent that Henri
Brocard was awarded the long-waited title and the fragrance was called the
Bouquet of the Empress.
During the
period of revolution there were tendencies to get rid of everything which
resembled of the previous life style and thus, Henri Brocard supposed the other
name to the new government for his company and the fragrance. So, the perfumery
was renamed to Zamoskvoretskiy perfumery plant N 5 and some time later it was
again renamed to call Novaya Zarya while the perfume was called Krasnaya Moskva
since the year 1925.
This is the
beautiful legend which is skeptically considered by historians and
representatives of the perfumery. In the opinion of fashion critics, such bouquet
could never appear in the early twentieth century since it was too adventurous
and there were no challenges for that. The time for that blending came a little
bit later when the legendary Chanel №5 was created resembling the scent of The
Empress Bouquett.
The
archives of the perfumery Novaya Zarya still keep the documented evidence of
perfume creation – creation of the legend of 20s.

The perfume
components were made by the best «noses» of new Soviet perfumery Novaya Zarya. This
legend, a little bit more of our times, shows the link between the perfume and
Polina Zhemchujina, a beautiful woman, the wife to the Minister of Foreign
Affairs Vyacheslav Molotov. Polina supervised the perfume composition for Soviet
women. And the beautiful woman managed to guess the fragrance to be favored by
beautiful ladies of Russia.
And she was actually right since millions of Russian beauties loved the scent
including celebrities and other stars.
It is not
feasible to recognize and determine the only authentic legend out of tow of
them for the notes of the first fragrance for Maria Fedorovna are not known
while the full blending of components for Krasnaya Moskva is still kept in
secret by the famous perfumery.
Does it
make sense, though? Whatever the components are, the fragrance is the entire
epoch and even today there are people who appreciate the scent and recognize it
as the sign of good taste with all the rich colors of femininity, elegance and
delicacy.
Bouquet for Krasnaya Moskva
This fragrance
refers to natural elite perfume and no synthetic admixtures are added as
components. The preliminary notes of the fragrance blend are based upon elegant
accords of bergamot and neroli striking the attention to that lady who dared to
wear the fragrance. The heart is presented with ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine
and the trail is the scent of iris, vanilla and tonka beans.

Krasnaya Moskva positions itself as the scent for strong-willed, sensitive and
confident women. Following celebrities, this scent is in the list of favorable
perfume among young women either who cannot perhaps know the history of the
fragrance.
