The fashion
collections of the pending autumn-winter 2010-2011 season celebrated the departure
of several trends at once being in favor before. First, fashion designers in
the majority of them refused from military style. Two seasons were given the
chance to wear army jackets with intentionally high shoulders and militarized
furniture elements, though the new season is completely free from military
spirit. Second, the other trend almost forgotten
in the autumn season was borrowing some elements of men’s style presented in various
manly jackets offered by fashion designers to enjoy this spring matched with
frivolous shorts or skirts. The new autumn collections have nothing to do with
the above-said trends.
The new trend came to move a little the trends reigning the latest few
seasons,
the trendwhich is the lightest to implement for the actual woman’s
wardrobe. Instead of trying tomatch the military-styled jacket with
ordinary clothing or look two sizes bigger wearing aloose manly blazer,
ladies can look elegant and attractive this season to the highest
extent. The season autumn-winter shouts to return to
classic style and thus, femininity will reign again.
Elegance of
classic style
One of the
best examples of the classic feminine style is the collection launched by Marc
Jacobs for Louis Vuitton House based upon the match of maxi length and elegant
blazers. Bell-shaped and long to ankle or half of claves skirts and dresses
with the corset top became the base for the collection. Marc Jacobs offers to balance
the puffiness of skirts with the plain close fitting top or classic one-button
jacket with slanting shoulder. The color scope chosen for Louis Vuitton for the
coming autumn is of exceptional attention and instead of accentuating the gloom
of the autumn-winter wardrobe or startle with neon dazzling colors which is
more suitable for summer time, Marc Jacobs offers to create the feminine image
based upon pastel tender shades of pink, light-beige, coffee and pale lemon colors.
The other brand from France,
Yves Saint Laurent, offers to remember of classic women’sbusiness suit
for the coming 2011 season. The entire or almost the entire collection
of the
couturier is built on the traditional but incredibly elegant match of
pencil-skirt
and close-fitting jacket with the accent onto the waistline thanks to
the belt
with a bulky clasp.
Boho chic
The fashion
brand Kenzo suggests the dominance of the classic jacket for this season as the
part of the stylish image built on boho chic elements. The collection of the French
brand for the autumn-winter 2010-2011 seasons presents classic long jackets of
dark colors to match with motley maxi skirts, cardigans and elegant fedora hats
creating gaudy image. The picture is complemented with the long silky scarf carelessly
tied around the neck with extravagant patterns. Kenzo brand also demonstrates
the image different to the above which is built on the so-called manly style
elements borrowing. The absolutely traditional men’s jacket with herring-bone
pattern by Kenzo is perfectly matched with feminine dresses and must-have
fedora hat to excite both men and women though sending sexual appeal to strike
men’s heads.
Short-cut jackets
Stylish short-cut
jackets appeared to be one of the outstanding fashion tendencies in the autumn collections
which extremely perfectly match with any garment of women’s wear, from
classical pencil-skirt creating the ideal office style to liberal jeans or a
dress for every day wear. So, the designers for the Banana Republic brand offer
to opt for the shortened jacket this autumn with the long top and leggings from
dense and opaque fabric, while the designers for J.Crew again remind of the
style of 90s launching the short-cut jackets with sleeves rolled up matched
with shorts and shirts. Short but amazingly well-designed jackets were launched
by Cerutti for the autumn-winter season to tone with the short and restricted
skirt with the similar pattern and such ensemble is the ideal acquirement to
complement the business wardrobe.
