The coming autumn-winter
season 2010-2011 turned to be the mature and at the same time the most realistic
from the point of view of the basic tendencies of the women’s apparel presented
at runway of the fashion countries. The key subject of the coming winter in
fashion is the mature femininity and elegance of the classic style which is
used by fashion designers deciding against the extravagant designer solutions
in favor of strict and laconic style. And therefore, most fashion collections
demonstrate the dominance of classic shoes without any extraordinary shapes and
fascinating heels, with least of decorative elements and the middle height of
heels.
One of those
fashion designers who founded the new fashion trend who revived the practical femininity
is Marc Jacobs. In his own collections and in new autumn collections for Louis
Vuitton Marc Jacobs demonstrated a series of incredibly captivating ensembles built
on blend of maxi length of wear, classic silhouettes and comfortable shoes. The
trendiest shoes for the coming autumn in vision of Marc Jacobs are the real
example of classic style with the stable square heel, narrow nose and small
decorative bow.
Oscar de la Renta, the other fashion designer
from America,
found the other successful way to mix practical attitude and femininity in his
hew autumn-winter collection demonstrating a line of flat comfortable shoes for
everyday wear. The new designer shoes distinguish with the plenty of
unpretentious elegant decorative elements either patterns on the leather of the
shoes.
Flat shoes showed
higher interest in the previous year, in summer season, though the trend is flourishing
especially for the new autumn-winter season praising tiny heels or flat shoes. Most
reputed fashion designers rejected the idea to launch shoes on incredibly high
heels in favor of low heels for everyday wear. So, the recognized master of
comfortable and quality shoes Manolo
Blahnik created his autumn
collection based on classic shoes on low and slightly curved heel, whether for
everyday wear, for business wear or for going out. Manolo Blahnik was followed
by the other fashion designers like Christian
Louboutin, Stella Nina McCartney, Marc Jacobs and
Valentino.
In spite of
high heels absence, fashionable shoes for this season never lost the beauty
since flatness is compensated with the special decorative element. Thus, in the
new autumn-winter by Valentino the shoes on tiny heels are decorated with
flowers, and the flat models presented by Salvatore Ferragamo attract the
attention with the luxury of the color gamut – the glittering shades of bronze,
golden and silver grey.
In regards to
the materials used by designers for shoes, the new season has not brought anything
new or extraordinary since the materials demanded and loved for shoes are still
calf and suede. Satin traditionally considered as the best and the most astonishing
material for evening shoes for events. The only innovation is velvet, which became
the actual fabric both for apparel and shoes for the coming autumn-winter collections.
Velvet shoes are demonstrated in collections by Louis Vuitton, Roger Vivier and
Fendi.
Those ladies
who still prefer exotic kinds of leather are not left behind by fashion
designers this season, either. They are offered the most luxurious alternative to
the ordinary calf as the skin of exotic reptiles. Thus, the autumn collection by
Pucci offer the luxury shoes from the skin of python of the deep red color,
while Marc Jacobs presented shoes on the tiny almost invisible heels from
alligator skin of the restricted brown color. Shoes for evening wear in the
collection by Bruno Frisoni are attention-getting with the lavish of the python
skin and trimming with feathers, whereas Louis Vuitton demonstrated evening
shoes of unusual shades of crocodile skin color.
