The coming spring and summer trends include the skirts in
the new vision. Yet, the trousers with high waistline so trendy and demanded
throughout the previous seasons, outdate this year. Fashionmongers will enjoy
the skirts of various styles and design, tailoring and length, and a range of
skirts will make any girl stylish and fashionable.
The classic skirt-pencil outdate and the designers praise
puffy skirt which are more beneficial for various shapes. The traditional trapeze
cut that provides the tight upper part and loose and fluffy lower part of the
skirt that makes it suitable for almost all types of woman figure. Puffy skirts
are preferred by many reputed designers and brands this season. Thus, Marchesa
who creates for the Hollywood celebrities included in his Spring-Summer
collection classic party ensembles with tight top and puffy long skirt made
from dense fabric that go to the floor in folds.
The fashionable brand DSquared2 practiced the real
trash-chic in his models when they appear on the catwalk in romantic fluffy
skirts from tulle a-la 50s retro style and sports-like tops. Karl Lagerfeld who
used the pastoral style as the base for his new collection created several
models of skirts which come puffy due to several layers when the upper layer of
the fine and sheer lace decorated the lower layers from the dense fabric. Chanel
puffy skirts appear to be the base for the elegant cocktail dresses and costumes.
Antonio Berardi offered short skirts with unusual tailoring as an alternative
to the skirt-pencil. The new model is designed as the tulip, wider in the hips
and tapering to the bottom. The model comes with the rounded and laconic cut.
Short puffy skirts dominated in the collections of many
designers. John Galliano added some frivolous mini skirts to the collection of
party dresses which are designed as if from plenty of layers of ruches from the
half-sheer chiffon with color prints. Marc Jacobs launched short fluffy skirts
for his Louis Vuitton collection. Yet, Valentino designers created romantic
images of models in short skirts from light fabric
with ruches. Collections by Roland Mouret, Giambattista Valli and Christian Dior
also boast with short skirts.
One of the trends of the fashion collections in
Spring-Summer 2010 is the sports style so favorite by designers in this season.
Yet, the skirts are presented in the sports style either. Thus, Jean-Paul
Gaultie offered the line of mini skirts of white color for Hermes collection resembling
the skirts of tennis players. Unlike the latter, the Hermes models easily compliment
with the elegant jackets and blazers the length of which favors for the
extremely short skirts.
The shortness turns to be a must-have for skirts in the new
Spring-Summer collections which is easily explicable. Short skirts offered in new
collections are presented in a plenty of styles, from romantic puffy models to
strict and elegant ones, and the fabric vary from the loving half-sheer chiffon
to the delicate leather and denim. The unique cut appeared to be the specialty
of the new models of skirts and many fashion designers play around with drapery
replicating the style created by Vionnet earlier. Thus, the young fashion brand
Lanvin presented the line of elegant skirts to the knee line with drapery from
soft and sooth fabric, and Christopher Bailey for the new Burberry collection
experimented with the drapery of skirts from glittering and rigid fabric that
create the clear geometrical silhouette.
The other trend for the new season is skirts long to the
middle of calves, tightly-fitted and making the alluring image. The fashion brand
Rochas demonstrated several skirts of this style made from the glamorous satin of
vivid shades, mustard-yellow and orange colors. Dolce & Gabbana collections
include the skirts of the same length with marry flowery prints. Long skirts
made from soft fabric with slight drapery are met in collections by Missoni
creating the natural and romantic image.
