Once again,
uniqueness along with creative solutions is in vogue in regards to anything,
especially of garments. And wedding dresses is not an exception. Every young
lady wishes to look as a princess at her wedding party though some women are
good to look as princesses while others are vamp winning. Many women, many
styles and currently designers offer solutions for the brides to find a wedding
gown matching their image or create other new extraordinary styles for them.
Following
classic trends in wedding ensembles Carolina Herrera offered full-length puffy
wedding gowns with long veils in her Spring'08 Collection, while Alberta
Ferretti presented mini bride dresses for Ready-to-Wear Collection. The dresses
were very short and white color and flounces were the only elements of classic
models. The girdle so widely used in wedding gowns is substituted by the top
plentifully decorated with embroidery and jewels saving money for expensive
jewelry.
Alber Elbaza
created a really avant-garde wedding dress for Lanvin Fashion House that was
like a Roman one shoulder tunic. Knee-size and absence of any jewels resemble a
plain but elegant attire of a Goddess and any bride will feel herself the same,
no doubt. Though, it is a bit confusing to match with the groom costume. May be
the same tunic, with male elements?
Monique
Lhuillier is famous for the unusual wedding ensembles as well. Wedding gowns in
her collection are full of sexual appeal that easily shocks elderly generation.
Fit closing dresses with low, very low neck look like evening dresses though
they are snow-white and so fluffy and the bride looks like a naïve but lecherous
school-girl.
Ralph
Lauren launched strict and unusual wedding dress presenting straight short
jacket with high club collar in contrast with tight and long shirt with fluffy
flounces. Such models resembled the Victorian epoch in England.
Dresses by Georgina
Chapman and Keren Craig who established Marchesa Brand are loved by many
celebrities. Jennifer Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Scarlett Johansson and
Sienna Miller love wearing unusual attires by those designers. Considering
their Spring'08 Collection these ladies decided for something black to add to
the white wedding attire and created white wedding gown with black laces that
looked very romantic and tender, though. The designers are likely to borrow the
idea by Pink, the pop-singer, who was wearing a black bow on the black band as
her veil at her wedding party.
Wedding
attires of many celebrities are often unusual, if not shocking. So, Bianca
Perez Moreno de Macias (Mick Jagger's ex-wife) is famous as the first lady who
married in the trouser suit and sunshade. Unlike Bianca, Gwen Stefani was
wearing a dress clasp fixed at a shoulder, the shocking and amazing was also
the color of the attire shifting from the intensive creamy shade to fuchsia color.
Nicole
Kidman stayed loyal to elegant but not classic style of wedding gown for her
wedding with the musician Keith Urban. She was wearing a dress by Nicolas
Ghesquière, the top designer of Balenciaga Designer Company. Off-the-shoulder
wedding dress trimmed with lace and a jacket of organza resembled elegant but
old -society world style.
Recently
avant-garde and unusual wedding dresses are in trend. However, classic models
do not outdate. They are complimented with the alternative shades, trimming
elements and fabric. The concept that «a woman should be the most beautiful at
her wedding» is still in force. The designers only try to accentuate the
individual features of every woman.
