The Casino
de Monte Carlo is the most famous location in the world for roulette, poker and
blackjack and one of the oldest casinos in Europe. The façade of the casino is
classical white color with fountains and gardens in front to add more
magnificence to the entire structure. The exterior is full in perfect green
lawns cared after skilled personnel. The structure that indubitably draws
attention of tourists mainly is the surprising Congress Center Auditorium with
multi colored geometric garden called Hexagrace just behind the Casino.
Built by
Charles Garnier, the famous architect of that time, the Monaco Opera House in
Monte Carlo was inaugurated in 1879. The stage of this Opera House saw
performance of such wonderful great voices of Patti, Chaliapine, Garden,
Schipa, Dall Rizza, Tamagno, Melba, Caruso and Pons. This Opera House also has
the works of art of Frank's Hulda and Ghisele, Bizet's Don Procopio, Massenet's
Cleopatre, Rendine's Un Segreto D'importanza and Lowell Liebermann's The
picture of Dorian Gray settled therein.

Saint
Nicholas Cathedral, known as Monaco Cathedral, is the place where mmany of the
Grimaldis were buried, including Grace Kelly who met with a tragic end. Monaco buildings
are mainly made of white stone and Carrara marble to contrast places in Italy with
architecture in pink, gold and olive colored stucco. In spite of the size
tourists love visiting this small but very welcome Old Town of Monaco. And it
goes without saying that Oceanographic Museum including Jacques Cousteau
Aquarium and research institutes draws no less attention of tourists.
The tourist
will have a place there in Monaco called Fontvielle built especially for the
purpose of sports activities. It is built on the ground gained from the sea.
This new district is rocky land that is in 40 meters of water. Also Fontvieille
is known with the rose's garden of Princess Grace.
